Visit the Ukrainian National Pavilion at the BALTEXPO trade fair
The Ukrainian National Stand (A.20) will be the meeting place for representatives of Ukrainian seaport administrations, local governments, and industry companies such as NIBULON Shipyard, METINVEST, and STALKANET .
From the Ports of Odessa and Pivdenne, through the Ukrainian Register of Shipping, to local governments in Vizyrka and Koblevo, each participant will share their experiences in rebuilding critical infrastructure, challenges, and visions for development. The stand will be a space not only for presentations but also for conversations, connecting people who are shaping the future of maritime transport in the Black Sea region and Central and Eastern Europe.
Substantive discussion about the common future of Poland and Ukraine
Ukraine is engaging in two key expert sessions on October 7th, which are aligned with its international cooperation strategy.
A roundtable for port institutions will allow Polish and Ukrainian experts to exchange experiences in the reconstruction of strategic port infrastructure, maritime security, port digitalization, and the implementation of low-emission technologies, while moderated discussions will guide future initiatives and partnerships.
The local government panel will provide a platform for discussions on the reconstruction of coastal regions, tourism development, and sustainable cooperation between port cities . This is an opportunity to build lasting relations between Ukraine and Poland – relations that will serve as the foundation for joint economic and logistical development in the Black Sea and Baltic Sea regions in the coming years.
During Security Day on October 9th, two panels prepared by the Ukrainian side will also be held, showcasing the perspective of our eastern neighbors in the face of crisis situations.
During the open meeting "Crisis through the Eyes of Civilians," the Ukrainian delegation will share the experiences of residents and administrations of war-affected cities – how to prepare themselves and their loved ones for emergencies.
During the closed Ukrainian panel, local governments will engage in a discussion on crisis response systems and the organization of urban space in emergency situations . Both events will allow participants to examine the issue of ensuring civilian safety from the perspective of a country affected by war – Ukraine.
