A sea of possibilities for the maritime economy

The BALTEXPO 2025 conference will focus on current challenges and opportunities related to the development of the maritime economy in Poland and Europe, particularly in the context of energy transition, sustainable development, and technological innovation in the maritime sector.

Participants will have the opportunity to participate in panel discussions on key topics such as port infrastructure development, cybersecurity in ports and maritime transport, financing the maritime sector, analysis of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) factors in the maritime economy, supply chain security in the face of global crises, and international cooperation in protecting the marine environment. The shipbuilding industry will also be explored, along with an analysis of current trends and challenges affecting this sector.

Business, security, technology

Additionally, the military aspect of the conference will highlight the importance of defense strategies in the context of geopolitical tensions, analyzing the role of the navy and international cooperation in ensuring maritime security in the Baltic region.

The official opening of the exhibition and conference will be honored by the presence of distinguished guests. Among the invited guests are representatives of the government and individual ministries, as well as representatives of local authorities and representatives of leading organizations operating in the maritime sector. Their presence underscores the importance of this event and the importance of cooperation between the public sector and the maritime industry.

Key discussions on topics related to the maritime economy

The conference was divided thematically into maritime and military sections. The main topic will be the maritime economy in the context of the European Union and the challenges facing the Danish Presidency. Experts from numerous institutions, including Deloitte and the Ship Forum, will participate in the discussion, presenting diverse perspectives from Poland, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Navy challenges

The military segment was created in cooperation with Defence24. This part will open with a debate on maritime security. Several programs are currently underway, such as "Miecznik," "Delfin," and "Ratownik." This is an excellent opportunity to discuss key modernization projects for our Navy, which are unique across the Polish Armed Forces. The finalization of the "Orka" program, which involves the acquisition of modern submarines, is also drawing near. Additionally, discussions are planned on the "Murena" and "Kormoran" programs, which involve the construction of minehunters, crucial for the security of maritime routes. Implementing these

projects is crucial for the modernization of the Polish Navy and increasing its ability to cooperate in international missions. We want to discuss all of this with experts during our panels.

Global trends and sustainable development

BALTEXPO 2025 promises to be a key event that could significantly impact future development strategies for the maritime sector. In the face of global trends such as sustainable development, technological innovation, and climate change, the conference will focus on key issues such as energy transformation of ports and maritime security in the context of growing geopolitical tensions. The diversity of participants and the wide range of topics covered during the conference underscore its significant importance to national and international maritime interests.
