A sea of ​​possibilities for the maritime economy

The Baltexpo 2025 conference will focus on current challenges and possibilities related to the development of the maritime economy in Poland and in Europe, especially in the context of energy transformation, sustainable development and technological innovation in the maritime sector.

Participants will have the opportunity to take part in discussion panels on key topics, such as the development of port infrastructure, cybersecurity in ports and maritime transport, financing of the maritime sector, analysis of factors related to ESG (environmental, social and corporate order) in the context of maritime economy, safety of supply chains in the face of global crises and international cooperation in the face The scope of maritime environment protection, as well as the shipbuilding industry and analysis of current trends and challenges that affect this sector.

Business, security, technology

In addition, the military aspect of the conference will emphasize the importance of defense strategies in the context of geopolitical tensions, analyzing the role of the Navy and international cooperation in ensuring maritime security in the Baltic region.

The ceremonial opening of fairs and conferences will be honored by the presence of distinguished personalities. Among the invited guests of the conference are representatives of government administration and individual ministries, as well as representatives of local authorities and representatives of leading organizations operating in the maritime sector. Their presence emphasizes the essence of this event and the importance of cooperation between the public sector and the maritime industry.

The conference was divided thematically into maritime and military sections. The main topic will be the maritime economy in the context of the European Union and the challenges facing the Danish Presidency. Experts from numerous institutions, including Deloitte and the Ship Forum, will participate in the discussion, presenting diverse perspectives from Poland, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Navy challenges

The segment on military topics was created in cooperation with the Defense24 portal. This part will be opened by a debate on maritime safety. Currently, there are several programs such as "Miecznik", "Delfin" and "Rescuer". This is a great opportunity to discuss key modernization projects for our Navy, and at the same time unique in the entire Polish Armed Forces. The finale of the "Orka" program, which provides for the acquisition of modern submarines, is also closer. In addition, talks are planned about "Murens" and the "Kormoran" program regarding the construction of minesmus destroyers, which are crucial for the safety of marine routes. The implementation of these

projects is important for the modernization of the Polish Navy and increasing its ability to cooperate in international missions. We want to talk about all this with specialists during our panels.

BALTEXPO 2025 promises to be a key event that could significantly impact future development strategies for the maritime sector. In the face of global trends such as sustainable development, technological innovation, and climate change, the conference will focus on key issues such as energy transformation of ports and maritime security in the context of growing geopolitical tensions.
