The Pomeranian Development Agency (ARP) has been operating since 1992. It is an institution that sets standards for entrepreneurship support in Pomerania and is a key partner for local governments in fostering regional development. ARP's mission is to promote the harmonious development of Pomerania by supporting Pomeranian entrepreneurship and local governments, as well as initiating and supporting economic ventures of regional significance. ARP initiates numerous economic ventures, coordinates the activities of the regional Invest in Pomerania initiative – responsible for attracting and serving foreign investors. It manages the ARP Capital Fund, implements EU grants for Pomeranian SMEs, and implements projects aimed at promoting entrepreneurial attitudes and developing the business skills of small entrepreneurs.
