The Maritime Economy Lanterns were awarded once again. The statuettes were prepared by a renowned sculptor from Gdańsk - Stanisław Szwechowicz. They were cast in bronze and depict a lighthouse defying high waves.
This year, the editorial committee of Gospodarka Morska decided to award six lighthouses. Arkadiusz Marchewka, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure, participated in the award ceremony.
Gdańsk International Fair SA was awarded for "Organization of the BALTEXPO fair and promotion of the Polish maritime economy on international markets." The lantern was received by Andrzej Bojanowski, president of the management board
