The first monopiles for the Polish wind farm Baltic Power have been shipped from the factory to the installation terminal on Bornholm. Monopile production began in January 2024, and they are scheduled to be transported to the installation site early next year. A total of 78 monopiles will be produced, two of which will be used for offshore power stations, while the rest will form the bases for wind turbines. The port of Roenne on Bornholm will serve as the installation base for Baltic Power, as the Polish terminal in Świnoujście may not be ready yet.

The Swedish Maritime Administration has ordered an EF-12 pilot boat from Artemis Technologies, equipped with all-electric propulsion, making it one of the first vessels of its kind. This investment aims to strengthen the organization's commitment to decarbonizing the maritime industry, including port operations. The Artemis EF-12 will be the first vessel of its kind to be used in Swedish ports and is scheduled to begin operations in spring 2026. The boat will be equipped with hydrofoil technology, allowing it to float above the water, eliminating water resistance on the hull. This solution is intended to optimize energy consumption, increase speed, and reduce operational noise.

The Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority announced that work is underway in Świnoujście on the construction of an offshore wind farm installation terminal. The project, implemented by Orlen Neptun, is scheduled for completion in early 2025, making it the first terminal of its kind in Poland and one of the most modern in Europe. The investment is being divided into several stages, beginning in 2023. The onshore terminal is being built on an area of nearly 20 hectares, where key offshore wind turbine components, such as towers, blades, and nacelles, will be handled and stored. Initially, the terminal will be used to install components for the Baltic Power offshore wind farm, being built by Orlen and Northland Power, and will then support the implementation of subsequent projects.
