He is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical University of Gdynia. He obtained officer's promotion in 1993. After graduating from the university, he served in the 3rd Flotilla of Ships in Gdynia, acting as a mechanic officer on the ORP "Wodnik" ship. After more than 12 years of service at sea, in 2007 he was sent to command of the 3rd Ship Flotilla, where he was entrusted with the tasks of a specialist in logistics - the Faculty of Supply and Infrastructure. In 2010, he was referred to further tasks at the central institution - the head of the Maritime Technology Inspectorate for the Support of the Armed Forces. He held a number of positions in it, from a senior specialist through the head of the ward to the head of the Sea Technology Headquarters, which he still performs.
Currently, Kmdr Wojciech Sikorski manages a cell whose main task is to plan and realize the operation of ship operation and the remaining maritime technique. He also carries out tasks under the appointed expert teams inscribed in the task of acquiring new military equipment, including Destroyers of the Kormoran II type mines, Delfin radio -electronic diagnosis ships, Miecznik frigate, lifeguard rescue ship and other floating units.
