A graduate of the Faculty of Navigation at the Maritime University of Szczecin. He is also a graduate of the International Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw and a PhD in economics from the University of Szczecin.
He completed numerous postgraduate studies, including: at the University of Warsaw or the West Pomeranian University of Technology. He has an Executive MBA from the University of Warsaw and the University of Illinois.
He worked in the Polish Baltic Sea Shipping as a navigation officer. In 2007-2008, he was a member of the management board and then president of the Police Seaport Authority. From 2008 to 2013, he was the president of the management board and general director of the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority. In 2014-2015, he headed the management board of Polska Żegluga Bałtycka. From 2018 to 2024, he worked as the technical director of the West Pomeranian Waterworks.
He became the President of the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority again on March 1, 2024.
