Managing Director, Member of the Management Board of Gdynia Container Terminal sp. z o. o. has many years of experience in the areas of management, finance and improving the organizational efficiency of enterprises. He has been associated with the port industry and the GCT terminal since 2010. He also serves as a member of the management board of the Port of Gdynia Stakeholders Council and Vice-Chairman of the Council of the Pomeranian Regional Branch of the National Chamber of Maritime Economy.
Gdynia Container Terminal sp. z o. o. (Hutchinson Ports Gdynia) is part of Hutchison Ports - a leading global operator of a network of 53 ports and terminals in 24 countries, where Hutchison Ports transhipped over 82 million TEUs in 2023.
Before joining Hutchison Ports, Jan Jarmakowski worked in various managerial positions, including Atos Origin and PricewaterhouseCoopers, supervised IT systems implementation projects in Poland and 25 countries in the CEE region, managed an IT shared services center and large project teams.
Jan Jarmakowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, majoring in Economics and Organization of Maritime Transport, and is a member of ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
