He is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk (1993) and postgraduate studies in journalism at the University of Gdańsk (1997). He also completed postgraduate management studies in management (2002) and doctoral studies (economics and management) at the Warsaw School of Economics (2005).
Since the beginning of the 1990s, he has been associated with the media market during the times of transformation in Poland. Initially, he worked in the Polska Presse publishing group in Gdańsk as a journalist, publisher and editor-in-chief of Dziennik Bałtycki, and at the same time constantly cooperated with TVP Gdańsk and Radio Gdańsk.
In 2001, he started cooperation with Piotr Soyka, President of the Management Board of Gdańska Stocznia Remontowa SA, in creating the information policy of the Shipyard and later the Remontowa Group. Since 2003, he has been the president of the management board of the limited liability company PORTALMORSKI.PL, the publisher and editor-in-chief of the online website www.portalmorski.pl, the largest portal on the Polish Internet devoted to maritime economy and the maritime labor market. Since 2017, he has also been the editor-in-chief of the national monthly POLSKA NA MORZU.
At the same time, in 2015, the President of the Management Board of Remontowa Holding, Piotr Soyka, entrusted him with the function of press spokesman, and in 2019 - director of communications at Remontowa Holding SA, where he is responsible for contacts with the media and the Group's information policy. He is also the author and publisher of industry periodicals and magazines.
Since 2020, Grzegorz Landowski has also been vice-chairman of the Tripartite Team for the Shipbuilding Industry from the Employers' side.
