Anna Stelmaszyk-Świerczyńska was appointed Director of the Maritime Office in Gdynia by the Minister of Infrastructure Dariusz Klimczak, as of January 16, 2024.
Anna Stelmaszyk-Świerczyńska is a graduate of the Gdańsk University of Technology, Faculty of Hydrotechnics. She started her professional career at the Hydro Construction Company in Tczew, where she gained experience as a master's engineer in hydraulic engineering - in positions ranging from construction foreman to technical department manager. Since 2003, she has continuously held the position of Deputy Director of the Maritime Office in Gdynia for Technical Affairs, responsible, among others, for the protection of sea shores, spatial planning at sea, coordination of planning decisions in the coastal zone and the construction and maintenance of access infrastructure to ports. While working at the Office, she also completed postgraduate studies in several specialties related to the tasks performed, improving and constantly updating her professional knowledge.
