Port of Gdansk Eksploatacja (PGE), one of the leading grain transhipment operators at the Port of Gdansk, will invest in 9 new warehouses, increasing its storage capacity fivefold to 152,000. tons per year. The transhipment capacity will increase from 0.7 million tons to 2.9 million tons per year.
The project, implemented in cooperation with the Port of Gdansk Authority SA (PGA), is worth approximately PLN 400 million and includes the construction and reconstruction of both land and water infrastructure, including quays and the purchase of transhipment equipment. PGE also plans to improve the organization and service of contractors, including IT systems.
These investments will be universal in nature, enabling the reloading of grain, feed and other goods requiring roofing. There is a possibility of developing the Grain and Feed Terminal in the future. PGE operates on five quays, and new warehouses will be built on the Szczecińskie and Wiślane quays, serving ships with loads of up to 36,000. tone.

The Kołobrzeg Sea Port Authority, the Ministry of National Defense and the Maritime Office in Szczecin are jointly implementing an investment aimed at widening the entrance to the port and deepening the port channel. A tender for design documentation has been announced.
The investment will include, among others: reconstruction of access infrastructure and cutting off the abutment of the Western Breakwater. After completion of the works, the port will be able to accept vessels up to 130 m, which will allow for an increase in the volume of transshipment and the introduction of a passenger ferry.
The coordinator of the activities is ZPMK, which has been trying to modernize port infrastructure and improve cooperation between land owners for years. The investment, covering 13% of municipal land, 16% of the Maritime Office and 71% of the Ministry of National Defense, is of key importance for the future development of the Kołobrzeg port and the regional maritime economy. It can also support offshore wind farms and the Naval Operations Center at the Naval Port.

On December 3, a 30-year land lease agreement was signed between the consortium of Speed, Tridente, Polski Cement, and the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority SA. A universal transhipment terminal and a modern cement plant will be built in Ostrów Grabowski, which will significantly increase the transhipment capacity of the Port of Szczecin.
The investment will include the construction of a terminal and an advanced cement production plant with a capacity of up to 2 million tons per year. After signing the contract, the selection of the designer and the organization of financing will begin. The investment is part of the ongoing modernization of the Port of Szczecin, which is aimed at handling larger vessels.

Orlen Neptun from the Orlen Group announced a tender for the development of a multi-industry concept and a functional and utility program for the construction of a service base for the Baltic East offshore wind farm. Offers can be submitted until December 19.
The base is to enable quick access to the farm, and the documentation will specify technical solutions, costs and work schedule. The Baltic East paint with a planned capacity of approximately 1 GW is to be built on the Słupsk Bank, approximately 22.5 km from the Baltic coast, next to the Baltic Power farm.
Orlen is planning a significant investment in renewable energy sources, aiming to reach 9 GW of installed capacity by 2030, including a significant part in wind energy. The Baltic Power project is scheduled to start work in 2025, and the first foundation shipments have already been shipped.
