In 2024, the ORLEN Group reached PLN 1, billion PLN 383 million in net profit, much less than last year when the result amounted to PLN 20.97 billion - the group said in the published annual report. President Ireneusz Fąfara noted that the result was influenced by copies of PLN 13.5 billion, which is a consequence of previous management errors. Despite this, the company carried out ambitious investments and maintained good operational results. Energy and gas were responsible for nearly 80 percent. EBITDA operating profit, which was PLN 35.5 billion before copies. In 2024, Orlen allocated PLN 32.4 billion for investments, including in the Baltic Power sea wind farm, gas power plants in Ostrołęka and Grudziądz, and modernization of power networks. On April 14, an operation of switching the PGZ of the PGZ war shipyard was performed to the new dock, which will allow further modernization of turntable No. 2 at the port of Gdynia. This undertaking is part of an investment project co -financed by the European Union, including deepening the approach track and reconstruction of the quays. The operation was involved, among others, by FairPlay IV and FairPlay 85 tugs, as well as rhino -pushers S 05 and rhino b 01. The relocation of the dock will allow further work related to a large investment project at the port of Gdynia, which aims to operate larger ships in the port pool, increasing its role in global logistics chains. For PGZ, the war shipyard is an important stage of preparation for the adoption of the three frigates of the "Miecznik" program, built for the Polish Navy and to be stationed at the Gdynia war.

The Board of Sea Ports of Szczecin and Świnoujście (ZMPSiŚ) begins the construction of a modern ballast and rushing water treatment plant at the Port of Świnoujście, co -financed in 85% of the EU instrument "connecting Europe" (#CEF2). Investment
with a value of PLN 8 million will be implemented by 2027 by a consortium of PTB Nickel Sp. z o. o. and PTB Nickel Technology Sp. z o. o. Treatment plant in the "design and build" formula. At the same time, a multimodal reloading node in Ostrów Grabowski is being built at the Szczecin port, which will facilitate the transhipment of containers between the rail and ships. This project, implemented by the company Transportowo-Budowlane Bernard Baranowski, also received funding from the #CEF2 program. In 2024, ZMPSiŚ ran 9 EU projects with a total support value of nearly 100 million and PLN 90 million. For 2025, further applications for funding are planned, including for the expansion of the installation terminal for the marine wind energy.

The Vagant self -like platform reached the port of Gdynia after completing work on the drilling under the beach in the Lubiatów and Białogóra regions. These works were related to the removal of export cables from the Baltic Power wind farm, used to transfer energy to the land. In the summer of 2024, Vagant aroused the interest of tourists and the media when he was visible from the shore. After the surgery was completed, the unit was towed to Gdynia by FairPlay-37 and FairPlay-85 tugs. She moored at the Greek quay, near GCT and Crist shipyard. Vagant, floating under the flag of Luxembourg, is 46 meters long, 26 meters wide and four legs with a length of 57.5 meters.

PGE and Ørsted, implementing the Baltica 2 wind farm together, began a series of information meetings with fishing communities. They were discussed, among others Principles of the transitional compensation system and the current work schedule. The compensation system is addressed to the shipowners of fishing and tourist units operating in designated squares and will apply to the completion of construction or introduce appropriate state regulations. The meetings were also an opportunity to listen to the opinions and questions of fishermen. Completion of the construction of the Baltica 2 farm with a power of 1.5 GW is planned at the end of 2027 - the installation is to supply over 2.5 million households. Further meetings with stakeholders were announced at the turn of the second and third quarter of 2025.
