After more than three years of construction and a year of laying the foundation stone, the T3 terminal in Baltic Hub was officially opened, which will increase the bandwidth of the terminal by about 1.5 million TEU per year. The modern terminal with an area of ​​36 hectares and a 717 meter long quay supports the largest container container in the Baltic Sea, using 20 automated RMG cranes and seven seven semi -automatic STS cranes powered by renewable energy. During the ceremony, representatives of government, local governments, shareholders and investment contractors took part, emphasizing its importance for the development of the region and Poland as a logistics leader. Although transhipment operations at T3 are already underway in the start -up phase, the full functionality of the terminal is planned at the end of the year. The T3 terminal strengthens Gdańsk's position as a key logistics hub in Central and Eastern Europe.

Starting the construction of the PGE Baltica operating and Survey base in Ustka

The construction of a modern operating and service base in the port of Ustka, which is to be put into use in the fourth quarter of 2026 and will support the first sea wind farm Baltica 2-a joint PGE and Ørsted project began. The base, occupying over 2.3 ha and equipped with administrative, storage and waterfall buildings for service vessels, will be a key operational and logistics center for wind farms in the Baltic. The investment is to contribute to the development of the Pomeranian region, creating new jobs and changing the character of Ustka from the seasonal resort to an important maritime energy center. The general contractor is Doraco Construction Corporation, and in the project over 30 Polish companies are involved, which supports the development of national industry. The base will also act as a background for the construction of the Baltica 2 farm, which is to start in 2027, and service works and monitoring will be carried out directly from Ustka.

Gdańsk University of Technology and PGE Baltica are developing educational cooperation

The Gdańsk University of Technology and PGE Baltica have signed an agreement on the PGE Baltica industry patronage over the Digiwind project, which includes new fields of education in the field of digitization and wind energy, implemented by the university. The Digiwind project, financed from the digital Europe program, offers innovative second -cycle, postgraduate studies and specialist courses preparing graduates to work in a dynamically developing offshore industry. Cooperation includes Creating curricula, internships and internships, lectures, research and mentoring of diploma projects. The new direction of renewable energy engineering with the specialty Smart Wind Energy Engineering will start on PG in October, and the recruitment will start on June 24. The agreement was signed by, among others Rector of PG prof. Krzysztof Wilde and the president of PGE Baltica Bartosz Fedurek, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between science and business in the development of Polish wind energy.
