The Ukrainian Register of Shipping is a national Ukrainian classification society that focuses on the safety of navigation and performing technical supervision and classification of ships, mixed-navigation vessels, inland waterway vessels, and small craft. Its history and experience started in 1931 as the Dnipro Inspectorate of the Register.
The Register is an inspection body accredited in accordance with the provisions of the ISO/IEC 17020 international standard and maintains a quality management system that complies with the ISO 9001 international standard. The Register employs over 60 surveyors, marine engineers, scientists, construction material experts and hydrotechnical engineers.
