Public Union “Ukrainian Maritime Cluster” (PU “UMC”) was established in 2020 to develop Ukraine’s maritime economy by bringing together companies in the sector. The Cluster promotes EU integration and growth of the blue economy, connecting stakeholders, regulators, policymakers, and businesses. PU “UMC” integrates over 35 members, including shipbuilding, repair and naval enterprises, R&D and educational institutions, marine equipment and IT suppliers.
– Vision: UMC becomes the connection point for the entire maritime sector that links with other players, global and national policy makers, and maritime organizations.
– Mission: The facilitation of Ukrainian maritime economy development through the consolidation of waterborne companies.
– Main activities: Forming of economic, technological, and political environment for the development of the Ukrainian maritime economy. Support for global integration and growth of international competitiveness of cluster members.
