The Port of Gdańsk is an organization through which tens of millions of tons of goods pass each year. Many Polish and foreign companies have located their businesses here. It's no wonder, as it remains among the top ten European Union ports, surpassing Marseille, Barcelona, and Bremerhaven. It is the undisputed container leader in the Baltic Sea and ranks second in overall transshipment. It is the only port on the Baltic Sea capable of handling the world's largest ocean-going vessels.
