The West Pomeranian Maritime Cluster Association was established as a grassroots initiative, primarily involving small and medium-sized shipbuilding companies and large-scale construction manufacturers, as well as Szczecin-based technical universities and business institutions. It currently represents approximately 100 companies and institutions, representing the majority of the broader maritime sector.
It offers its members activities in the field of networking, integration, innovation support, and access to funds from targeted programs, both Polish and EU.
Important initiatives include legal regulations at the local and central government levels affecting the industry. Initiating joint domestic and international exhibitions, securing funding, organizing substantive seminars, training sessions, meetings with government representatives, and more.
