Navantia, a Spanish shipbuilder wholly owned and supported by the Spanish government and Industrial Holding (SEPI), is a world leader in the design, construction, and integration of modern warships, as well as ship repair and modernization. It also designs and manufactures Integrated Platform Management Systems, Fire Control Systems, Combat Systems, Command and Control Systems, Propulsion Systems, and life support systems for all its products. Navantia attended Baltexpo to present the S-80 submarine, the most innovative conventional submarine for NATO navies. This submarine is also the most adapted to the Polish ORKA program in terms of capabilities, technology, and schedule. The S-80-class submarine, designed and built by the Spanish shipyard Navantia, is the only submarine equipped with third-generation AIP propulsion.
