Panel description

The ongoing energy and climate transformation is not solely driven by regulatory conditions. The outcomes of the Paris Agreement and the EU Green Deal are increasingly intertwined with broader corporate development plans. It's noteworthy that, despite uncertainty surrounding future technologies, a growing number of corporations are defining precise yet ambitious decarbonization goals and translating them into business objectives for their value chains.

During the "ESG in the Maritime Economy" debate, we will speak with leaders and experts from key sectors that determine the pace and availability of energy and climate solutions for the Polish economy and individual businesses. We will analyze the main risks and challenges and define practical recommendations on how to approach the transformation.

Certainly, making decisions on real transformational actions, despite the enormous uncertainty, is a strategic task and we should not delay it. The lack of clear climate goals and transformation plans will significantly limit the ability to finance business development and undermine the competitiveness of Polish companies operating in the EU market.
