Polish-Ukrainian Round Table on Local Governments – Cooperation between local governments in Poland and Ukraine for the development of coastal and port regions

12:00
– 13:30
Conference Center - Room 1A
Free admission

Imagine places where decisions are made in wartime, where every repair to critical infrastructure or the organization of supplies can determine the daily lives of communities. The Polish-Ukrainian Local Government Roundtable will feature stories from those on the front lines of rebuilding and supporting local communities. These are not just stories, but also practical experiences, best practices, and ideas for cross-border cooperation that can inspire local governments in Poland and Ukraine.

The Round Table will become a platform for exchanging experiences between local governments in both countries. A key focus will be the panel discussion "Cooperation between Local Governments in Poland and Ukraine," during which key issues will be discussed: wartime support and the reconstruction of coastal regions, post-war tourism development, and the construction of the Baltic-Black Sea transport corridor.

The meeting will create a platform for building partnerships and projects supporting Ukraine's integration into the European maritime economy, including the establishment of the Black Sea Association of Cities and Municipalities as a partner for the Polish Association of Maritime Cities and Municipalities. It will also be an opportunity to jointly explore solutions for building stability and a future in challenging circumstances.

The meeting is open to the media and the public with a BALTEXPO ticket.
