You could have found a job in the maritime industry!

The BALTEXPO Career Day took place on the third day of the fair, i.e. on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

We invited: to the event

  • secondary school students, especially last grades,
  • students,
  • teachers,
  • people looking for job opportunities in the maritime economy sector,
  • people who are ready to change industries and want to check what competences they should expand,
  • people looking for an offer of training and specialized courses thanks to which they can supplement their skills or take up employment in the maritime economy sector,
  • people with a business idea and looking for support or financing

Career Day participants checked the potential of the maritime industry and discovered employment, development and career opportunities.

BALTEXPO Career Day is:

  • Possibility to learn about broad professional prospects in the maritime industry,
  • Guided tours of exhibitors’ stands: ports, design companies, infrastructure contractors, military, offshore, startups and SMEs,
  • Educational proposals of universities,
  • Lectures by exhibiting companies on the main stage,
  • Information about the expectations of the future employer, possibility of direct contact,
  • Job offers, internships and apprenticeships (JOB WALL),
  • Offer of courses and training in the context of the need to change industries and improve qualifications,
  • Information on the possibilities of co-financing business activities,
  • Possibility to undergo a trial interview with a representative of the Gdańsk Labor Office,
  • Possibility to meet representatives and offers of companies from STARTUP Zone by Infoshare,
  • Interesting lectures, e.g. on how to “enter” a chosen industry, where to start?
  • A sea of information about the specificity of various areas of maritime economy,
  • Gamification with prizes.
