The first of 76 turbines has been installed at the Baltic Power offshore wind farm, being built by Orlen and Canadian company Northland Power. Full commissioning is planned for 2026. Each turbine has the capacity to power a city the size of Stalowa Wola, and the entire farm will meet approximately 3% of the country's energy demand. The installation is being carried out by a 160-meter jack-up vessel capable of carrying three complete turbines, and some components – including nacelles – are being manufactured locally, including in Szczecin. The project is expected to generate approximately 4,000 GWh per year, reducing CO₂ emissions by 2.8 million tons per year. Orlen emphasizes that the investment is a key step towards energy transformation and the further development of offshore wind energy.

A delegation from the Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda, visited the French Naval Group shipyard in Toulon to review the Scorpène submarines offered under the "Orka" program. During the visit, a letter of intent was signed regarding cooperation in the field of land-based cruise missiles, which could deepen the strategic partnership between Poland and France. Technology transfer and the possibility of servicing the vessels domestically were also discussed. The Scorpène submarines have an autonomy range of up to 80 days, are equipped with modern armament (F21 and Exocet torpedoes, and the ability to launch NCM missiles), and are already in service with several countries. The Ministry of National Defense has announced the selection of a contractor by the end of 2025, although the first vessel may not enter service until 2031-2032

Central European Petroleum announced the discovery of Poland's largest conventional oil and gas field – Wolin East (WE1), located approximately 6 km from Świnoujście, in the Polish Exclusive Economic Zone in the Baltic Sea. Estimated recoverable reserves are 22 million tonnes of oil and condensate and 5 billion cubic meters of commercial-grade natural gas, with the entire Wolin concession potentially containing as much as 33 million tonnes of oil and 27 billion cubic meters of gas. The WE1 well was drilled at a depth of 2,715 meters using the Noble Resolve platform. Analyses confirmed a 62-meter hydrocarbon column in the Main Dolomite (Ca2), with excellent production conditions. CEP is a Canadian company headquartered in Calgary, and is majority owned by Norwegian investors.
